Serving the Lord with Teen Missions in Russia
Meet Katya Trofimova
My name is Ekaterina “Katya” Trofimova, born November 24, 1945. I accepted Jesus on June 16, 1991. By education, I was a teacher of English and German. I have been in full-time ministry for the Lord since April 1994. I have a son and two grandchildren.
I became acquainted with Teen Missions in August 1991, when Mr. Robert M. Bland was preparing the way for a U.S. team to travel across Russia doing street evangelism. Watching American teenagers sharing the Gospel message, seeing their own lives changed through faith in Christ, made us realize that we need this kind of ministry in our country too.
So we began to pray. It took 15 years before Boot Camp in Siberia became a reality. We ran our first Boot Camp here in 2006. We also have a few BIBLE MISSIONARY & WORK (BMW) Training Center graduates, one is serving the Lord as a missionary. Kids come to Boot Camp from churches of different denominations and from a few neighboring regions: Kurgan, Swerdlovsk, Chelyabinsk and Tumen.
- Ask the Lord to spread TMI ministry in different areas of Russia.
- For students who are mature in Christ to join BMW
- For mature leaders, especially for PRETEEN teams
